Nina attended SUNY Brockport graduating with a degree in modern dance in 1977. She then attended the University of Texas at San Antonio earned a degree in physical therapy in 1982.
Since then Nina has continued her lifelong learning; expanding her skills in the field of integrative manual medicine ,blending it into her orthopedic practice model.
For over 35 years I’ve been a P.T. practitioner. My primary focus has been in orthopedic physical therapy with manual therapeutic skill developed during these years. These techniques include Muscle Energy and Counterstrain, which compliments the therapeutic process so that goals are achieved more fully and faster. This training and experience along with my background in exercise and dance ( 13 years of formal dance training including ballet, modern, jazz and African forms ), gives me a unique perspective on treatment of pain and dysfunction. My approach combines the importance of being based in science and research with the importance of integrating conventional and alternative medical models.
